So one of the projects or units that we look at in Frog Street is all about insects. When I went on to teachers pay teachers.com. I came across an awesome bundle pack all about insects and the really great thing about this bundle pack is that it allowed us to use them in a variety of disciplines including Math, Science, Language Arts, so it is definitely worth a look at. I'll be posting some of the work that our students did with this unit. 

Later in the week I will also post  a link directly to that bundle pack so that you can have easy access as to which bundle packs were used with these projects and activities.

Teaching pre-K symmetry using Math & Art

What are the finest lessons that I was able to teach was about symmetry. In Math,  we had to deliver a lesson explaining to students what symmetrical figures were about. Obviously,  it's when each side looks the same, since art is the activity that students enjoy I decide to combine Art and Math.
